SECOND PHASE OF TEACHING PRACTICE: WEEK 6
My school experience this week was a rollercoaster of emotions, filled with memorable moments and heartfelt farewells.
In the midst of these emotions,I found myself conducting achievement tests, which were an opportunity to gauge the progress of my students. Additionally, I had the privilege of supervising the English essay writing and story writing competitions. It was heartening to witness the creative talents of our students, their words weaving stories that transported us to different worlds.
As the week drew to a close, Day 30 marked our last day in the school. The finality of it all sank in, and the deep bond I had formed with my students and fellow teachers became even more evident. Their efforts to convince me to stay were touching, a testament to the warmth of the school community. The farewell was a bittersweet moment, filled with tears and laughter. We distributed sweets to the students, symbolizing the sweetness of our shared experiences. The principal and teachers organized a heartfelt farewell, leaving us with cherished memories to carry forward.
This week was a reflection of the beautiful tapestry of my school experience – the joy of celebrations, the pride in my students' achievements, and the sadness of saying goodbye. It served as a reminder of the impact education has on our lives, both as teachers and students, and the lasting connections we forge along the way.
