FIRST PHASE OF SCHOOL INTERNSHIP : WEEK 9

4/11/2023 to 12/11/2023

This week stands out as an unforgettable one, primarily because it marks the end of our 40-day teaching practice at the school. Bid farewell to the students and the institution was an emotional but necessary step in our journey.

Despite the bittersweet farewell, this week remained remarkably productive. The highlight was undoubtedly the English carnival, which brought together various programs and activities that showcased the students' talents and enthusiasm for the language.

In addition to the carnival, I had the responsibility of creating an achievement test, ensuring that our students were well-prepared for their assessments. This task allowed me to gauge their progress and understanding of the subjects taught during our practice.

A significant part of our week involved a conscentization program on the topic of "Respect for Elders." This class was highly informative for the students, instilling values that go beyond textbooks and contribute to their personal growth.

We also actively participated in a school-based activity centered on waste management. This initiative aimed to raise awareness among students about environmental responsibility, a crucial aspect of their education.

The culmination of our teaching practice was marked by a heartwarming farewell from both students and teachers on our last day of internship. The gestures of appreciation and well-wishes made our departure bittersweet, reinforcing the importance of the bonds we had formed during our time at the school.

In retrospect, this week was a mix of emotions, from the sadness of saying goodbye to the fulfillment of having contributed positively to the students' education. It's a chapter that will remain etched in our memories as we move forward in our teaching careers.
